Beginner

An introduction to the canine sport of agility. In this six week session, your dog will be introduced to all pieces of agility equipment: jumps, tunnel, tire, teeter, bridge, A-frame, table, and weave poles. Handlers will learn the importance of body language and positive re-enforcement.

Novice

The purpose of this class is to continue to build on the foundation set in the beginner class and create a more confident and thinking dog. Canines will be introduced to running longer sequences on the equipment. Handlers will be taught how to best negotiate obstacles while increasing their dog’s drive and focus.

Intermediate

The focus of this class is to build and develop your handling skills by introducing obstacle discrimination and distance. You and your companion will work towards running a full course and be ready for advanced agility training.

Advanced

This class will continue to challenge both you and your dog. As a handler, you will learn to walk and analyze a full course. As a team you will continue to develop obstacle performance and course skills. After completing advanced training, you and your dog will be ready for competition if you wish to compete.
